Root Phone
Over time PerkTV starts slow down the phone. Some power users will increase performance by rooting their phone. Rooting allows for the user to have administrative rights on their Android device. When a user roots their device and flashes a custom recovery, they can then install custom ROMs, which will allow them to increase battery life, upgrade to newer version of Android, and remove bloatware. Below you will find links on how to root your phone for most common phones.
